December 17: Seattle's top dress designer, Luly Yang, made stunning outfits for Children's Hospital patients, including Soul child, Channon. View video here.

October: Board member Randell Walton attended two separate Microsoft Giving Campaign events on October 9th and 16th.

July: Lynette and Portraits of Hope documentary filmmaker, Jon Ward, were featured in "Hope on Film," an article published in Alaska Airlines Magazine. Read the entire article here.

June 4: Portraits of Hope, the documentary featuring Soulumination was shown at the Egyptian Theater. This film was shown as part of the Northwest Ties Collection at the Seattle International Film Festival.

In April, Portraits of Hope won Best Film of the 2007 International Documentary Challenge. The documentary directed and produced by Team Tessa of Washington was part of the International Documentary Challenge (IDC),a timed filmmaking competition where filmmaking teams from around the world have just 5 days to make a short documentary film.

We're proud to share the news that the documentary also won two additional awards for Best Directing and Best Use of Art Genre.
